My first pair of heritage ropers lasted me 16 years and I absolutely loved those boots. I tried to buy them again, I'm a creature of habit. But the new generation has a liner in them that once it becomes hot and sweaty, you absolutely cannot get these boots off. It became so bad that I had to stick some scissors in there and cut the liner on both sides just to get my foot out at the last race. And I'm so sad because these boots aren't very old. I've just recently written to the company to ask think Ariat makes quality product
