Crush

True story, I loved these so much I bought 38 pairs. Literally. They were delivered in a washing machine size box. Brought them out one at a time, wore them out thoroughly and then opened another. This went on for 10 straight years. Tonight, April 21, 2022, I ceremoniously opened my very LAST box and am, dare I say it, “crushed” because I can never have another. Yes Rocket Dog still makes ‘Crush’ in black, but they’ve ceased making it in this beautiful neutral buckskin color and nothing else will do. You don’t want a giant eyesore on the end of your leg, ugh! The nude color just blends in to your skin seamlessly and gives the ‘illusion’ of height while being famous Rocket Dog comfortable. Whereas in black, they cut you off at the ankle and actually make you look both clumsy and shorter. Please Rocket Dog, bring back the color NUDE! Oh well. They’re not likely listening. So for me, sadly, today marks the end of an era. :-( it was a great 10 years while it lasted…

I'm old enough to have worn platform flip flops in the 90s so the style has been fun to revisit. These are comfortable and will be on repeat this summer. They do run small, though. I am normally an 8 and got these in a 9. I'd recommend going up a whole size for the correct fit.

This shoes were awesome until they broke mid step! I ordered them from here two months ago and have only worn them a handful of times. It has just been getting warm enough to start rocking flip flops. I was walking around my neighborhood a couple days ago and I tripped a little on my shoe and I could tell something was wrong. Low and behold the whole shoe had split in half right where the webbing meets. I had to stumble home on an unwalkable shoe. I am very disappointed in the quality of Rocket Dog. The material is too cheap and broke after a few wears. Do not recommend if you want something that will last the length of the summer.

I love(d) these shoes so much - super cute and surprisingly comfortable. I'm only giving three stars because I only got about 8-10 good wears out of these before they fell apart *fantastically* - I lost my balance on my gravel and with the relatively minor strain, one of the straps on the left shoe (along with a big chunk of the sole) tore completely off the platform rendering them unwearable. If these were at all sturdy, they'd be perfect.

This one fit half size smaller but there was no 11.5 or 12 However I can make do. Keep in mind you MUST be a platform shoe person or you will not be happy. Also the higher you go you need to add to size... This is true to size. Construction seems to be true to Rocket Dog. Shipping was fast and Zappos was great.

This is the cutest shoe. I saw it on someone else, admired it and ordered myself a pair. However, the piece that goes between the big toe and the rest of the toes is placed so far forward on the shoe that my toes were hanging over the edge. I guess if you have short, stubby toes this shoe may work for you. However, I have average toes and they hung over the front edge. I am really disappointed as they are so cute.

Not very comfortable and the wedge being narrow in front made them fell unstable. Wouldn’t recommend.

So comfy & versatile! I owned my first pair in high school, and I have been replacing them for over twenty years! A summer staple. :)

I love these flip flop/sandals which can be worn dresses up or down and are really comfy just a bit high so have to be careful. I wear them with a cute sundress or with a coverup to the beach/pool.
