My 11 year old son LOVES these for skateboarding. He is VERY hard on his shoes when skating, and we've had to replace his other shoes every 6-8 weeks. These hold up so much better than Converse or Vans! We've gotten so much more mileage from these. Highly recommended for kids who spend a lot of time skateboarding.

These were trash, but Zappos made it right… So, when we first got these, one of the metal eyelets that the laces go through came loose. Zappos’ CS team offered a refund, and our kiddo was digging the style, so they kept wearing them for a bit. It wasn’t a terribly long time before the sole started to separate from the upper at the toes (on both shoes — remarkably at almost exactly the same time). The condition of the sole and upper was solid otherwise, so I imagine some parts of the shoes were much more durable than the adhesive holding them together. FWIW, on days with a lot of walking our kid (with very slightly wide feet) started to get some rubbing going on on their pinky toe. Thanks to Zappos for the awesome support. Big thumbs down for DC’s quality control!

My son's feet are 23,5 cm. We followed the DC shoes official website for sizing, and the US 5,5 size fit perfectly! Thank you, Zappos and DC shoes!
