This is a great shoe. I have had this same shoe in black for about 10 years and it still looks and feels very nice. This new shoe offers excellent arch support and gives me a confident feel when I walk. It is easy to take off and on and I like that feature as well.
I had been clinging to an older (think decades) much repaired pair of these shoes and have been haunting various sites looking for a replacement pair. I absolutely love these! Unlike some brands that change their design, or materials or just cancel a model, Finn Comfort delivered exactly what I had hoped for. The rocker sole on these sandals is not as pronounced as on some other brands, but gently encourages the foot to roll through the entire bottom of the foot, from heel to toe in an extremely comfortable way. I highly recommend this shoe. Yes, It is pricey...and has kept me walking despite iffy knees and very flat feet.
The box says it is a US size 10/EU 44 while on th4e Website is says 11/11.5. Very confusing.
Much better than normal "good arch support" For those who need real arch support, the Zappos "rocker style shoes provide a full step up in arch support.
I have worn Finns for years. I hoped these sandals would work but are so uncomfortable that I had to bandaid some parts of my foot as it was rubbing too hard. I only wear Soft insoles. These insoles did not quite seem "soft". Only worn a few times. Perfect condition. I have to return them as I cannot wear them.
Wanting a sandal that had closed back and was adjustable, after a year of debate I decided to order it. After only 15 minutes, I knew this was not the sandal for me. Having many Finn Comfort sandals already which are incredibly comfortable, I was disappointed that the toe straps were so unforgivingly stiff and scratchy that I knew I would have blisters if continued to wear. The color also was so much darker than the photo as well. Last, I had hoped they might look a bit more feminine unlike my husband's MBT sandals!
My husband totally loved the fit and feel of these, he's really suffering with Plantar Faciitis. and they felt GOOD. However, the very confident, renaissance kind of guy was left somewhat uncomfortable with the feminine look up front and questioning whether he should really be seen.. So we're thinkin they're not exactly gender neutral that way. Very, very sadly, returned.
These were very comfortable but the husband felt totally feminine which was not his intent..
I love this shoe, but because of mobility problems, I cannot use a rocker sole.
