I ordered the oiled leather version TWICE and twice Zappos sent the cheaper birko-flor synthetic version to me requiring me to take 2 product return trips and wait for my $300 back. Don't order Birkenstocks from Zappos.
I’ve been wearing the Birkenstock Arizona’s for many years. I have them in many colors and styles. This is a great classic shoe to me that I will continue to buy and wear for the foreseeable future. I personally prefer the traditional footbed over the soft footbed. I find them more comfortable and less bulky. I love this shoe overall!
Excellent fit. They take a bit of time to break in, but once the are broken in, they are perfect! I love the look of the oiled leather, and the fact that they can be re-soled if the soles wear down. Quality is excellent!

The quality of Birkenstock is now a fraction of what it was prior to becoming a publicly traded company. These shoes were ill-fitting, showed abundant glue, and much lower quality materials than I expect at this price point. This is my last interaction with this brand, I'm done.
I have bought this same model for decades. Lately the straps are shorter than ever. I have to upsize by 3 sizes. Which means the toe bar and the heel cup hit all wrong. What is going on?
