SRT Emilia (Infant/Toddler)

After spending 7 years fitting shoes I feel it is only appropriate to help share some shoe fitting knowledge! These are phenomenal first walkers. If you have the opportunity to get into a store where you can measure your child's foot do so! Any knowledgeable shoe fitter should be able to advise you about how to fit your little one simply by looking at their foot. A child with a narrow foot would need a half size up from their measurement but a child with a medium or wide foot will need a size up. They run full enough that most little ones will only require a medium width. When fitting babies you should make sure that the shoe doesn't have an arch in it because they still have a pad of fat where their arch is in order to support and protect their feet. Children NEED room in front of their toes. A properly fit shoe will provide a thumbs width of length between the end of their toe and the end of the shoe. If you are looking for other guidelines to use when fitting your child you should take a look at stride rite or Clark's websites.

I swear by Stride Rite shoes for babies just learning to walk. Thats all my kids wore, and now I bought my grandaughter her first pair! They offer great support and are light weight. Photo of her modeling her shoes...she loves them!

Excellent shoe for early walkers. Provides the proper support required for tiny feet. I see far too many toddlers wearing inappropriate shoes because parents think they're "cute" but don't realize the damage they're doing to their little ones' feet.

The shoes are very cute, just wish you had them in a darker color too.

The baby was on the line for either a medium or wide width, so I ordered both. Super fast shipping and easy return. The shoe is so cute and well made. Our little girl just started walking and this is her first pair of shoes!!!

These were the first pair of real shoe's I brought for my granddaughter. They looked great and I saw that they helped her walk straight unlike the other shoes she had been wearing. I believe they help her too walk without being scared. That's just my observation if she could talk maybe she would agree with me.

Great!!!!My granddaughter loves these shoes. She has small feet making it hard to find shoes that fit. These fit her feet perfectly, and improved her walking.

We love these shoes. I bought them for my daughter as she learned to walk. We saw them on another little girl at daycare and inquired about them. Glad I did. We still wear them, and they provide great stability for a new walker. They are also a great aesthetic alternative to the traditional "hard bottom" shoe.

I love this shoe for my daughter. She began to walk and I wanted a shoe that would be cute yet sensible. These were it. They ran true to size and they look cute with all her outfits. Recently I bedazzled them to add some flare. I wish I could upload a picture.
