Steens Mountain fleece has a time proven design that is not flashy, but rather it is a solid design that will not go out of style. Its medium weight material bridges the temperatures Fall to Winter, and Winter to Spring in the northern U.S. and southern Canada. Add a parka shell and the wearer can manage for months. It has quality in both its materials (fleece, zipper, elastic cuffs and jacket hem), as well as its production in assembly. The value comes in the reasonable price for a long wearing product. I am 6 ft 2 in tall, 34 in sleeve, 43 in chest, and weigh 180 lbs. The large (L) standard size fits perfectly, with room for a heavy sweater, if desired. I live in Ohio.

Surprisingly warm. I wore it over a sweatshirt and cotton t shirt and walked outside in NYC 22°F weather. Very comfortable, warm, and layers easily over thick sweatshirts. The collar is a little weird in how it stands, but my main thing was staying warm and being able to layer it.
