Rocker outsole also propels you through the gait cycle, rocking you from heel to toe in a natural motion, resulting in less tired feet and body at the end of the day.

Belle and Paloma Alegrias are fantastic in every aspect. Was Dansko customer for years and a customer reviewer on Zappos mentioned Alegria brand was also good. Tried them 10+ years ago and now 90% of my shoes are Alegria Paloma and Belle. Dansko quality and fit became spotty thru the years. Alegria Belle and Paloma very similar to each other but Belle slightly more refined look. I have a C width and narrow heel. Also “loose” ankles and I toe out(supinate) a little. I can walk for miles in these two styles, very stable support, “cush” is good, excellent quality and comfort.

This has been my favorite shoe for years. I can no longer wear it because of arthritis. If you could just make this in the firm stretch fabric I know I could wear it. But not to change the style because it is perfect in every way.

Very disappointed. I liked these lower cute sole than the Alegria Rose but they’re quite heavy strap is a nightmare to deal with. The clip the strap slides thru is too small and needs both hands to maneuver strap thru. Then the Velcro is very short and basically does not accommodate adjusting across the foot. For some reason, the heel slipped on these in walking but didn’t on the Alegria embossed rose, same size.

I really wanted these to work. They are very cute. The mini rocker bottoms are a good design for my needs. The square toe is perfect for the true shape of wide feet. But the toe box while nice and wide isn’t deep enough, the leather is stiff, and the opening cuts across my MTP joint in a painful way. Sadly back they go.

These are interesting, in that they are definitely 'foot shaped' with a wide, rounded toebox. They were too short for me, Euro size 42 / US11.5-12, and the very constructed insole takes up quite a bit of interior volume. I tried removing the insole, and while that gave more height over the toes, it would be miserable to wear: these shoes must have an insole. There's a molded lip/ridge at the back heel (and probably the toe) and the cork insole has a matching 'notch' at the heel, so the insole 'snaps into' place and is secure.
Construction was adequate, and I was okay with the style, being what it is, but they're just too short, not enough interior volume, and kinda stiff as well, like a clog sole.

I don't know what's happened to Alegria shoes. Did they switch manufacturers? I bought a pair about 6 years ago of the oxfords, size 39, and they are REALLY comfortable. I've worn them constantly. But every pair I've ordered and tried in the last few years, in size 39, has been just a tad short. My big toes are squished up against the front, and very uncomfortable. Of course, a size 40 is too big. My feet slip up and down. I've given up on this brand, except for the slip-on styles. They seem to fit okay.

Very nice shoes. They look a little clunky but very comfortable. The shoes are well made with very good leather. I am looking forward to buying this brand in sandals in the summer.
