Durable work boots. Several options I have been searching for- all found in the Louisville MET. I tried these in place of the Troy work boots this time. The Troy's flex stripe in the forefoot outlasted all the other work boots I've had.

I'd buy again with some improvements: Firstly, this is my first ever pair of internal METguard safety shoes, I love Keen shoes but didn't care for the style of the external metatarsal guard. The fit is spot on and the general break in is great. However, there are some low points I cannot ignore in this review. 1) The lace hooks are oddly spaced and the middle ones are not spaced well relative to the other ones. It would have been much better with only two lace hooks 2) There is at least 50% too much padding at the top of the boot. Perhaps it is too dense as well. It detracts from the normally perfect Keen fit 3) THE SQUEAKING AT THE TONGUE DRIVES MY NUTSO. Not certain what was missed in the development of this shoe, but the vinyl DEF does not play well with the leather. I've tried some baby powder and a bit of shoe polish but nothing seems to help

Boot of Choice: I've worn several pairs of the KEEN Louisville over the past decade and love them. The internal met guard is unnoticeable yet still protective. I don't shop for boots anymore because this one is an excellent daily wear. I also wear it when motorcycle riding and it works just fine.

Mostly this is only my 3rd week with then boots and I love the style of them. The fit for me is just a little uncomfortable right where the steel toe box ends it feels as if it is bending inward and putting uncomfortable pressure on my toes. Im hoping in the coming weeks either the boot will give or my toes will capitulate. Aside from that one issue the boot is fantastic!

Well I like the boot but you sent me the wrong one's I got 8" instead of the 6" favorite boot for work comfortable for the 12 hour shifts
