These shoes are life! I put them on my 11 month old and she did not let us take them off! She just walked the kitchen over and over. I love Footmates. This is her second pair and I see a third very soon in her future.
These shoes were adorable on my daughter. They do run a little large and are a bit clunky for babies who are just starting to walk. I wouldn't recommend them as a first pair.
The width is great if your child just has a chubby foot but it was not wide enough for our wide foot baby.
They are really cute and my daughter (now 17 months) got lots of compliments wearing them during the winter! They are sturdy and the pale pink color is gorgeous and fits any style. I would say we didn't wear them enough to soften the leather but they never hurt my daughter's feet. Being a tall shoe, you have to open them well to fit them otherwise you have a hard time putting them in a baby/toddler's foot. Overall they are a great buy and look adorable.
About to order our 3rd pair of these adorable pink walkers. First pair was a 4, then 4.5, and now ordering the 5. They are true to size, require no break in period, are easy to clean, and very well made. Get so many compliments when she wears these.
Love the shoes for my granddaughter, as soon as her dad put them on her she took several steps. The shoes help support her ankles, great arch support, too. She is proud to be walking.
I am in love with these shoes. I have gotten so many compliments on them, and dour people have asked where I bought them so they could purchase for their baby. These shoes are such a nice change from all the flashy, trendy baby girl shoes that are so common these days. They did not need to be broken in at all - even after a full day of wearing them, she had no blisters or red marks. Her physical therapist recommended these to aid in therapy efforts to correct her tendency to walk pigeon-toed.
I 100% adore these shoes! They are a classic early walker that give fantastic arch and ankle support. My daughter is in the midst of some physical therapy, and her physical therapist gave these a rave review as well. They are also extremely well made with durable leather and lovely stitching. All that aside, they are adorable! My daughter gets compliments every time she wears them.
Buy this shoe! I ended up buying 2-pair because the first pair was too small for my grand baby. Instead of returning them I gave to my grand niece, she not walking yet but will grow into them. They look adorable, quality construction and very good ankle support which important for first steppers. I waited to give this review because I wanted to observe her actual walking. We were walking and she was about to fall but I watched her wobble but the shoes actually prevented her from falling. Your baby will wobble but not fall down!
