The shoe trees area very tight fit with my narrow shoes; I probably should have gotten a size smaller.With wide shoes I would recommend going toward the large side, because the shoe trees expand while shortening to fill space. A chart that comes with the product helps to get the right size based on shoe size and width, but this chart probably is a too much to publish on the web site.
They fit my shoes great. They will eliminate wrinkles over the vamp from forming.

I've owned cedar shoe trees for years from LL Bean, to Charles footwear, to Florsheim to Foot Joy and more. For the money these are an a o k buy and you can't go wrong with Zappos customer service. If you want top of the line shoe trees they're on this web page and the price reflects that in the choices available.
The shoe trees came without a springs in the they where not functional I had to go to a hardware store and purchase the springs
