I tried on several styles of Merrell shoes in a Men's 10M size - all fit well EXCEPT this shoe. It felt too tight and too short. A different Merrill moccasin waterproof style in the same size, 10M (from a different store as Zappo's didn't seem to have them), felt fine.
These are my third pair of Merrill Jungle Mocs over the past 15 years. The previous two had incredible comfort, that I wore the soles off because I loved the comfort and out countless miles on. This new pair did not meet the comfort expectations I experienced on the previous ones. Heel pocket is way too stiff, and caused me the have some Plantar Fasciitis the flair up. I will need to find a different brand of comfort shoes.
Purchased a similar style (Denali brand, cheap $22.50) suede pair @ Big 5 for Dad's X-mas gift in a 7.5. They were too big for him even though his sneaker size is 7.5. My hubby wears this style & has 2 pairs in size 13. He says they're his most comfy shoes. Took a chance that 7 would fit my dad. They fit & he says they're super comfy. Also seems to provide good stability with the soles which is good for 80 year old Dad. My parents' yard is covered in rock. Dad has a tendency to lose his balance & fall sometimes. The waterproofing is an added bonus since he gardens.

Very comfortable shoe, and I like the added waterproofing feature for walking outside in (rainy) winter. Almost no break-in period — shoes felt great by the second day wearing them. The ability to slip on and off without laces is a real plus, particularly for airline travel — this style of shoe is now my go-to for wearing on the plane. Tread has good grip, and excellent for walking around. The one drawback (for me) is that the back of the shoe tends to catch on stairs, something that's (sadly) not uncommon for someone with a size 13 shoe.

Have loved these shoes for years (bought my first pair to march and play in New Orleans Mardi Gras) and have never looked back. But was unprepared for the improvement of the hands free feature. How can I love you more?
I bought this for a vacation in Europe. Fit was great, very comfortable, was able to do 15k steps a day with no problems
