These are my favorite shoe of all time, and I wish I had bought 10 pair. Because now, of course, they are no longer available. So sad. The short, wide, rounded toe, mesh, good support… they have everything I need!
I've been ordering/returning running shoes from Zappos ever since Nike Pegasus 29 (circa 2012) slowly disappeared. I am eternally grateful to Zappos for not cutting me off - IMO the best-run corporation in US. I have impossible feet -- too small, pencil-heels, half- golf ball sized bunion on one foot; one arched/one flat. Need orthotic-friendly, size 5.5m, wide toe box, super narrow heel. At long last, I found New Balance 877!! Not perfect, but definitely good enough. Check: wide toe box for the giant bunion, better support than Pegasus 29, sacrificing some cushion, heel slips somewhat, but I padded it and switched to slightly thicker socks. Ordered another pair and probably should add a third in case it too disappears. Thank you Zappos for putting up with me all these years!
These particular New Balance shoes are my go-to shoes. I have had several pair over the past few years. They just work for me and my bad feet. I am afraid they will discontinue this model.

I ordered a B width and was sent wide in an unmarked box. Not helpful.
I'm going to get another pair tomorrow, They are not as stiff as some I've had. I'm going to have my 2nd knee replacement soon and I feel they will be as good as the same pair I just wore out. It seems that I stay more stable if the shoe gives a little, which this does. That bends some for me and gives me a chance to get stable. Another thing is the way they look. Since they are a "walking" shoe and not a "running" shoe they blend in with a simple pair of slacks. The colors do not jump out ! I'm an old lady and I like a soft appearance. I wouldn't suggest them for a sophisticated night out or a wedding and such. So if you're running a race you probably need a NB running shoe. But if you like things nice and easy this might be for you, Try them!
This is a comfortable shoe for walking around in with a pleasantly wide toe box. I don't wear them to exercise as I have other NB trainers better suited for gym use. I have moderately flat feet that are difficult to fit since they are small with a narrow heel and a wide toe base and a bunion on one foot. These shoes fit fine for casual use, which is quite important to me.
True to size for me. Easily fit my orthotic. Cute with jeans.
