Synchrony Split Sole Ballet

The manufacturer recommended ordering down 3 sizes. The first pair I ordered was too small at 2 sizes down. I ended up with the 5.5. I’m a true 7 in street shoes. I would recommend 1.5 sizes down from you regular shoe size.

I wear a 9 street shoe and the 6.5 narrow was perfect for me. The shoes are very comfortable and totally conform to your foot. They do wear out faster than leather ones, but they are so much prettier on your feet and your arch looks great in them. I use these for all my classes and use old leather ones for my long practice sessions at home.

Stop reading reviews and follow Bloch’s recommendation of ordering two sizes down from your street shoe. I ended up ordering one size down after driving myself crazy with reviews. My daughter is using them but a size below would have been perfect. She wears a Street shoe women’s 8, I ordered 7, should have ordered 6.

My daughter is right between adult and kid sizes (size 2, 8" foot) so I ended up buying 4 pairs to get the best fit. The 1.5 kids barely came up over her heel. We ended up settling on the adult 3.5. It has a little bit of room in the toes. I reattached the elastic straps to fix the bit of gapping around the top, which I though was strange because kids feet are supposed to be wider? My daughter loves the security of the double bands. I like the canvas because she is also a gymnast and the Bloch website recommends these for gymnasts over the leather. Will buy this style again when she grows out.

Bloch said to order 2 sizes smaller than street shoe size. We had to end up ordering 2 sizes larger than street shoe size. Very comfortable though. Daughter loves them.

I like that the material stretches but would have gone up a half size as they feel so snug. They will most likely loosen up but the tootsies are right up to and pressing the front. I always wear size 7 shoes and the reviews said 5.5 would be good. Otherwise, I love the fact that the elastic is already in place and don’t have to fiddle with sewing.

This style runs slightly smaller than other Bloch split-sole ballet slippers and is a little rougher on the inside. Consider buying a half size larger. I prefer the Bloch Pro Elastic ballet slippers, but Zappos doesn't sell that style.

"true to size " can be misleading for ballet shoes. I wear a consistent 7.5 M in street shoes. I ordered the 6C and they were exactly what I was looking for. 5.5 would have been way too tight. 6.5 would probably have worked, except I like a fitted shoe.The cross-straps provide excellent arch support and the split bottoms allow good form with no break-in period.

Excellent ballet shoe!! Daughter normally wears a size 3 street shoe but wears a 3.5 in this shoe. We ordered the narrow and it was a perfect fit! Highly recommended!
