Roomy toe box allows toes to stretch out. Three buckle closure ensures a secure and fully adjustable fit. Birkenstock's contoured footbed support kids growing feet. Arch support provides a steady foundation that supports good posture. Suede-lined cork footbed offers excellent arch support, a deep heel cup and roomy toe box and molds to the shape of each individual's foot. My daughter is 4 years old and currently wearing a 9 in all other shoes and the 8.5 fits her with room to grow. She struggles with the buckle closure.

Okay, I took a chance on these as my normal size 35 in Birkenstocks is so incredibly difficult to find. And, I've work 34s before. The length and width of the footbed was fine. However, the length of the straps are too short. I have really small, narrow feet but they still didn't work.

Ordered one size up then daughters shoe size and she has a little room but not to big. She’s autistic and will tell me shoes off if they aren’t comfy but she will keep these on all day
