I’m 5’3” 125lbs and this looked like a clown suit on me. I ordered the small which was the right size, but it must look better on taller girls. It looked so bad on that I couldn’t take it off soon enough.
So let me start with...I have this jumpsuit in the Black and the Midnight (Navy) colors and I LOVE them! I've dressed them up with heels and jewelry for evenings out and dressed them down with a flat or sneaker for more casual events. So, it was a no-brainer to buy another one in grey - or so I thought! The grey is NOT the same material or cut as the black and midnight jumpsuits. It felt more like heavy jersey or sweatshirt material, and the legs were cut so wide and baggy that I felt like I was wearing clown pants. For reference, I am 5'6", 170lbs and a size 14 in pants. I have the Black and Midnight jumpsuits in an XL and they fit perfectly. Not sure why the grey color is so different but they were definitely a "miss" for me.
This looks cute on but I may need a cami under it because of the large armholes and deep V front. I'd prefer not to, so it's kind of a bummer. I got it for an evening occasion in August and now I'm scared to wear it because of what people are saying about pilling and pulls. I don't want to wear it and not be able to return it if it becomes a mess... and because I waited too long. I'm torn.
This is a fantastic jumpsuit. Stylish. Incredibly comfortable. Amazingly easy to get on and off— specifically, for those of you who worry about jumpsuits in regards to using the bathroom, it slips right off your shoulders and is like taking off elastic waist lounge pants after that. Also, the top won’t drag on the floor since you hold it by the top. and the pant legs won’t either because of the elasticized jog bottom. It is a perfectly and practically designed jumpsuit. Feels like wearing pajamas but appropriate for any dressy event. Can dress up or down. Despite the plunging neckline that would be appropriate to wear alone for only the smallest chested of women… it looks great with a bandeau top for those who can pull it off and a camisole for larger chested women. (A square/straight camisole looks extra stylish with this Japanese inspired cut but any will do) Incredibly, it is just as flattering and wearable for large bra sizes as it is for smaller ones. It’s minimizing and roomy (34 DDD here and my friend who has one is a 36B). My single complaint: I had to return this particular version because it is not made of jersey as expected. It’s more like an office suitable stretch polyester and that is not what I wanted. I ended up buying the same jumpsuit in velvet instead so my review can still be trusted.
I love the drape of the top, the v was deep for me but cami looked ok, I'm 5'11" and in a large it was a little shorter than I'd like but that's the norm in a jumpsuit for me... The fabric feels like it won't last very long but it's cute over all and super comfy!
This jumpsuit is everything. I'm so pleasantly surprised that it actually fits and is flattering. Had the inseam been any shorter, it would not have worked. I am 5'6" and 150 lbs. I wear a size 12 jeans I have a big butt and hips, a small waist, and am small on top. Size L is perfect. So happy to have stumbled upon this brand. I love Halston, late 70s early 80s silhouettes.
This is one of my favourite go-to outfits! It us so simple, classic and elegant and fits whatever occasion to which I wear it. I always get compliments when I wear it.
This jumpsuit is adorable, and the fabric is very comfortable and drapes beautifully. But as other reviewers have noted, if your stomach isn't flat as a board, it's just not flattering. If there were a waistband of some description, it would have been fine, but I decided it wasn't a keeper, unfortunately.
As always, material is very comfortable and drapes well but the legs were WAY too short. I am 5'7", 120lb and the small fit well up top and at the waist but the legs were ridiculously short, almost to my knees. Must go back.
I actually bought this same outfit from a different designer, and it was perfect. This one however, was cheaply made and disappointing all around. Super disappointed.
