I liked the shoe except for the heel counter, which rubbed against the bony protrusion on the back side of the heel bone. I am returning them as a result. A more forgiving heel counter would be better.

Unlike my previous XC4 that had great cushion in the back of the heal, these cut into my heel. Fortunately, I took them off before I left the house after only wearing them for 10 minutes and used another shoe. I was in pain all week. Please bring back the original XC4 that had the upper back cushion (like wearing sneakers).

These shoes are excellent! Well made. Hardy. Had to put some arch inserts in but I also have flat feet so may not apply to all. They do great in the rain as well. No spotting, nothing. No maintenance needed! Terrific! Will buy another pair!

Two years ago I bought with you this same product johnston & murphy shoes ... and it does not look at all badly made with bad quality. Im really upset with this.

Sizing is right on! There will be a break in period, but once broken in, these shoes will wear like iron. All my J&M shoes have lasted a good long time!
