I bought these Catalyst VX boots after having such a great experience with my previous pair of Ariat Stump Jumpers. Those boots were comfortable from the very first day and still are, so I expected the same kind of comfort from these. The Catalyst VX boots are definitely nice boots. I like the look and especially the neon accents, which is one of the reasons I chose them. Unfortunately, they weren't nearly as comfortable right out of the box. For the first week, my feet were hurting every day b

A bit heavier than expected, they get warm after a few hrs of wearing them. The boot itself is comfy. Has a very firm insole.

These boots have been solid for both work and heavier outdoor use. I recently used them while working on propertycutting trees, moving around uneven ground, and dealing with rough conditionsand they handled everything without any issues. They've got good grip, feel stable, and hold up well even when the terrain isn't perfect. The reinforced toe and overall build give you confidence that they can take a beating. They're definitely heavier than everyday boots, but that's expected for what they're built for. Once you get used to them, they feel dependable and tough. If you need boots for real worknot just light usethese get the job done.
