The shoes are beautiful and well made. I ordered my normal size 7 and they were a tiny bit snug. They did stay on my heel when i walked, and I thought the next 1/2 size up might be too big and slip off. I wore them around the house for about a week to see if they would loosen up, and they did a bit. Then I put on a pair of socks and wore them for several hours and that did the trick. They fit perfectly with tights, and i wore them to a wedding from 3:00pm until 1:00am, walking about a half a mile at the end of the night back to our hotel from the after party. My feet were starting to hurt, but it was a very long day in new shoes! I will get a lot of use out of these shoes, I love them.

These are beautiful shoes and really perfect for an evening out either with a dress or jeans. I have narrow heels and these are just too wide in the back. My feet just slip out. if I put pads in the back, they're better, but still gap. I wear a size 9.5 and these fit well in the length.

I am older and my feet won’t tolerate strappy sandals or heels anymore. I found these dressy enough for a black tie wedding and since I am not used to pointy toes…I gave it a 4 for comfort. Room enough…but of course not a sneaker. The 8 is the right size for my 8 and sometimes 8 1/2 feet. No slipping.
