Sunbriolet Sun Hat

Hat came in a bag and was folded. Hat will not regain normal form or fit.

Love this hat. Very stylish. Stiff brim that doesn't flap but not inflexible. Wide brim covers my face and neck.

Overall this is a great hat. It's the best lightweight, packable hat I've found that offers excellent sun protection. One suggestion for improvement: Increase the front (and maybe the side) diameter of the brim to match the extra long back. This would increase sun protection and, to my subjective eyes, make for an even more attractive hat.

No, you're not going to look cool wearing the Sunbriolet because of the gigantic, asymmetric shape. But it does a great job shading your face and neck. I also like the internally stiffened brim. I'm rating my hat 3-stars, though, because of two weird, but minor, things that happened at the factory. None of these affect the overall functionality but given OR's focus on design and quality, they are a little disappointing. First, the crown lining doesn't lie flat even when I'm wearing the hat. Second, the foam in the brim is warped with the result that the brim rises and falls a bit around the circumference of the hat. Again, my hat *works* well...but I wish the quality inspectors at the factory had been more diligent.

It's way too large for my head size! Could I return it?

Provides great sun protection and light weight. Perfect for hiking.

The hat fits very low on my head and for size large is a bit tight. It is cool when working in the garden. I bought another which is too small for my husband's head. The brim is a great size for sun protection.

Curious George Watch Out! The man in the big yellowish hat is back! I recently used this hat in a 100 degrees trail running competition in Texas in July. It worked great to keep me cool and keep the sun off my neck. I can't give it 5 stars, because I have two issues with it. I really wished it was more bright orange and less yellowish. Lightweight, functional, and priced right. This Sunbroilet Sun Hat has been great. It provides great protection from the sun.

I too had a version of this hat about 2016 or so. It was awesome. I saltwater fish and it was perfect, stayed on in the wind with the brim flipping down in my face, dried quickly and was cool. Lost that one and repurchased an about 2020/21 and put the hat in my truck to take to the boat a few weeks later. When I took the hat out of the back seat the brim was warped almost beyond usefulness. I have to wear the hat sideways so I can see where I'm going. Very disappointed.
