Trail Lite Evo GTX

I use the Trail Lite Evo as an everyday hiking boot (i.e. non-load bearing, on trail hiking). As with all Zamberlan boots the fit is amazing, like it was made for my foot. Even though the boot doesn't look it, they are pretty anatomical and slim in design. The leather feels supple, but has held up well for 3 years now of continued use. I do regularly condition the leather, like you have to with any leather boot (I use the Zamberlan leather spray). What I like most about the boot is the combination of lightweight design and excellent support. I didn't expect these boots to be as supportive as they have been. I also like the classic looks to the boot and have gotten away with wearing them as my exclusive shoe on hiking trips (i.e. I don't take any other shoes with me) because I can wear them driving, flying, or wherever as well as on the trail. I ditched my Solomons when I got these boots as the comfort is much better and the durability has been better as well.

lightweight, comfortable and well made boot. Replaced in the insole with Superfeet and they are perfect. I have 10.5 size and they are a quarter inch longer than other 10.5 shoes I have, but it is not a problem

The boot was all I had hoped it to be. They are light weight and comfortable straight out of the box. My feet love me again.

This is my fourth pair! I’ll continue to wear these boots for the foreseeable future.

By far the best hikers i have purchased. Looked small compared to my Salomon hikers, but they are much beefier. The Zamberlans fit like a fine leather glove, no discomfort at all. I am going to save these to wear with jeans out and about town, like them too much too scuff up hiking... I’ll leave the for the Salomon hikers. Received order in a couple of days, as always Zappo’s was excellent service again ?

I put off buying new boots for far too long. I wore my previous pair until the soles started to fall off (were re-glued and then fell off!). This is to indicate that I was fearful about having to break in new boots. I put these on and was amazed at how excellent the fit was. Just enough room in the toe box, great support at the arch, and sung at the ankle without rubbing. Perfect all-around daily hikers that can be properly re-soled, so you’ll be enjoying these for a long, long time. An investment in the consistent comfort of your feet.

This is a very old school leather hiking boot still made in Italy, which is what I wanted. It fits well, has a nice Vibram rocker style sole, and will be fine on medium-length hikes (not enough ankle support for a long day with a heavy pack but that's not what it's for). It also looks great with jeans and a sweater. I've only had them a few days so I can't report on any real hikes but the comfort is good so far and these appear to be well made boots.

These are my go-to light-weight hiking boots for longer treks where combating leg weariness should not undermine support while carrying a fully-loaded backpack. I wear heavier boots in more unforgiving terrain, but this pair still has the >>essential<< Vibram soles for traction in all terrain conditions, appropriate water proofing, and good durability. The boots are lighter than they may appear in the photos -- good idea to compare actual weight before purchasing.
