Actually, it is a pretty nice shoe, but as an 80 yr old with an unsteady gate, I need a shoe with a grippier sole. These are hard and last much traction.

My husband needed a good pair of walking shoes so we tried these. His normal size 10.5 M was a little tight so we reordered in an 11. The size 11 fit better but he found them to be somewhat stiff and not all that comfortable. Neither of us liked the way they looked - ugly orthopedic. We returned them.

I started wearing SAS VTO shoes several years ago. I now have 6 pairs under my bed...all need to be re soled! Obviously, I LIKE them!! The only downside to them is that the soles ware out long before the tops do. I'm x military so shoes are important to me and keeping them in good order is a must.

The SAS shoes were comfortable out of the box and look great. The way the lacing is done makes it easier to put on and take off than most lace-up shoes. I'm looking now for other SAS shoes that I can get in other styles and colors.

The width was too narrow. I purchased a one sized wider shoe in same style.

Even though the SAS Time Out single E (wide) shoes were supposed to fit me, they were actually tight along the width at the ball of my foot causing pressure, friction and discomfort.

SAS comes through again. I hadn’t bought SAS shoes in quite a while. I needed a shoe that is well made and comfortable. Between osteoarthritis and neuropathy in both feet, it’s hard to find any shoe that provides the support and cushioning that I need. Also, the orthotics work well in these shoes. I love the quality of Texas leather and these are made in San Antonio. I love the history of the company, so I am happy to be back in a pair of their shoes!

this is the 3rd pair of shoes that I have bought over 30 years, they wear like Iron I'm a nurse and am on my feet 10 hours a day, very comfortable.
