This is my 3rd pair. I abused the last pair by wearing them in the work shop and while gardening. However, they lasted 3 years. I am a man with a narrow foot, and I love that SAS makes shoes that fit me.

I suffer from chronic plantar fasciitis, and I have found the SAS Bout Times shoes to be the most supportive and comfortable of any shoes I have tried. The style is not the most fashionable, but a small price to pay for the comfort.

Construction and design is excellent. Quality of leather softness and color is also excellent. However at my present age and fitness level, this show is too soft and insufficiently “strong” for an active stroller aged 65. Arch support is moderate, toe room is very loose. For an older, diabetic or less ambulatory person it would be good. For those reasons I must return it.

My husband found the Bout Time Lace Up Loafer to be extremely comfortable and well made. It did not require a break-in period. He wears them almost every day with no issues. In fact, we ordered the same style for him in the other colors offered.
