The fit would have worked if I didn't wear custom orthotics, but I do. With my orthotics in place, my heel slipped out of the shoe. Also, the front of the shoe, under the ball of my foot where my orthotic ends, felt flat and uncomfortable. As for look of the shoe, I say meh. Sometimes shoes are better looking in person than on a computer screen, but these were a little more bland in 3D.
Due to a surgical mishap years ago....my right leg is one inch longer than the left leg The SAS Siesta left shoe can be altered to make my legs even. An experienced "shoe cobbler" can split the sole of left shoe to add the needed inch of height. Not all shoes can be altered in this manner. It requires a QUALITY SHOE and a competent cobbler. THANK YOU, SAS SHOES FOR MY ABILITY TO WALK for the last 15 years.
They were a little short and they slipped on my heel.
These shoes were super comfortable and attractive. The fit was perfect. The soles squeak on any kind of smooth surface.
Five star purchase in every way. They arrived quickly and in good order. More importantly my foot has improved.
The shoes are made wonderfully! I was in the shoe business for 12+ years(40 years ago) and the company I worked for bought SAS for the stores. They are still made to the same high standards today as then. There are fewer styles in the size I need(101/2 2A to 113A), but they still make them!! The leather used is still finished the old way, so it doesn't wear off as soon as you scull the shoes. The prices are high, but worth every penny!! I have a pair of siesta's I've had for 12 yrs and they look as good today as they did then!

Excellent fit, value price. My mother favored SAS shoes, which must have a very long history. (Also have a previously purchased pair of white SAS shoes - always a good fit, attractive)
The mocha and black loafers are my everyday/every occasion shoes. Extremely comfortable, sturdy, long lasting. And the moc-toe makes my size 9.5 medium feet look just a little smaller than they are. I bought a pair of dressier flats to wear to big parties, an uncommon occasion for me. (They're just as good as the loafers.)
My grandmother wore the original siesta so when I seen the new spin on this one I knew it was for me. About my 10th pair I own n I adore it. Easy casual every day shoe with plenty of style!!
