Liberty Slip Resistant Lace Up

Years ago I bought a pair that was the best , most comfortable shoes I had ever worn. I don't know what happened but this pair didn't even come close to the comfort of the ones I bought before.

These shoes are incredibly uncomfortable. I can't believe all the positive reviews. There's seams in places that really irritate the top of my foot and also the side. In the description it mentions "overbuilt shoes". If anything these shoes are "underbuilt". There's virtually no padding in the tongue (that's why the seams are do painful) and no padding under your toes.

For me, these are the perfect shoes to wear for my all-black requirement for my musical performances. I had a pair of SAS shoes in the same style I had bought over 10 years ago, but the soles have come unglued, and a shoe repair place said they couldn't be fixed, so I bought this new pair. They are not as comfortable as my previous pair, but I hope they will break in.

This shoe now comes with a elastic band on one side of the tongue of the shoes. This doesn't work well for wider width feet because the tongue don't fully cover the front top of the feet.

These shoes are HEAVENLY. I can work a 12 hour shift and my feet feel fine, while everyone around me is crying about how their feet are killing them. Shoes that are this good for your feet should be ugly, but these are stylish and look like sneakers. They are built to last, and I can wear them for years. They even come with an extra pair of laces. When I bought a new pair, I gave my old pair to a coworker, and she loved them so much that she bought herself a new pair for her birthday. I originally heard about these shoes from my Podiatrist. Literally life-changing. Your whole body will thank you.

The problem is the elastic piece inside of the shoe that binds the tongue to the side roof of the shoe. That does not able the AFO brace for my right foot to enter the shoe ! I am not sure yet whether a half size up would work for that (and I would have to keep the right foot shoe that I have now to wear on the left foot. with some shoes I have done that, but not sure if it would work with that elastic blocking brace entry. Anyone have a comment on whether that would work or not?

I plan to wear these shoe on days when I have to be on my feet for hours. My feet slipped right in them - even though I had on thick cotton socks. They fit perfectly. It's great buying shoes knowing that you will not have to carefully break them in.

I had ordered the 10.5 WW and personally needed a larger toe box [no reflection on how the show was made] which is why I ordered these 10.5 WWW. The toe box was fine, however, I was walking out of them.

I purchased these in 10.5 WW - personally I need a larger toe box and just ordered the WWW.

The problem is not totally the shoe itself, although it is part of my personal issue. I was hoping to be able to get an AFO brace in the shoe; there was plenty of room for it. However there is a piece of elastic connecting the side of the tongue to the body of the shoe , which I have never seen before. This will not allow the shoe to accommodate the insertion of the brace. For that reason only, I had to mark the shoe width as feeling narrower than marked.
