I purchased these boots for a trip to Egypt and they were the perfect desert boots. I wore them almost continuously they were both cool and comfortable, whether walking over uneven coble stone streets or dry desert sand. The sole is low and provides great traction and support while the wide footbed provided excellent breathability. They also did an excellent job of keeping the sand out. At the end of the day, after dusting them off, they still looked good enough to wear with khakis for dinner! I would highly recommend these boots. In fact, I ordered a second pair in black for traveling in Europe this fall.

I'm on my 3rd pair of these, so I like them a lot. They look good and are great for work or weekend. They are a roomy - which is great for wearing wool socks in winter. I found that the insoles wore out quicker than I would have expected.

Two totally different shoes were sent—- different shape toe, different color, different heel collars!! Very odd!! Not what I expected for $150!

felt true to size, and width. Spacious toe box. Moderate arch support. Lether and stictching seeks durable. Laces are the type that need to be tied very tight or they will come loose.

As nice as they look and feel, the quality is lacking. I bought these for a Europe trip and while they were very comfortable, after three weeks the sole pretty much fell apart, worn thin and cracked through in multiple places, let water in, just really disappointing.

It seem to be quite narrow, and the toe curves up a little bit and that was really uncomfortable. Overall just a strange fit.

Bought them for a 4 week trip to the UK, unfortunately after three weeks the soles cracked completely through, allowing water in and making them unusable in the wet. There's another review here with pictures that has damage that looks exactly like mine, so it makes me think it wasn't an anomaly. I do not recommend at all, which is unfortunate because they look great and were very comfortable, but i won't be buying Born until some quality improvements are made.
