Best boots you guys ever made if you wanna stay in business you better keep this boot on your site

Boots fit to size. They are durable and long lasting in the oil field.

Great fit, does not feel clunky like some heavy work boots.

If you're a material handler in the Midwest who works outdoors, you might find that the Velcro straps on your boots wear out too quickly. I've only had these boots for less than five months, and the straps have already lost their stickiness. However, the boots themselves are incredibly comfortable and durable.

they are not fitting like my other brand of boots . and they do not break in like they should

Long Story Short: The boots aren't horrible but they aren't very comfortable to walking around in. Most uncomfortable Ariat boots I own actually. I'm a supervisor for a steel manufacturing facility where safety toes and metatarsal guards are required. I typically walk anywhere from 5-7 miles on concrete and pavement over the course of a 9-11 hour day. Up until my purchase of the Ariat Catalyst work boots, I ran through 4 pairs of Danner "Vicious" boots, each lasting approx 8 months before they would be compromised . I own 7 pairs of Ariat boots (various styles) and have been very pleased with their fit and comfort over the years. I was excited to see they had an offering of of a metatarsal work boot and had high hopes these would be my new work boot of choice. Out of the box, they were pretty stiff like snowboard boot. I contemplated putting them right back in the box and returning them, fearing they would never break in to where they would be comfortable. At the time of writing this review, I have wore them 8 days (~90 hours/~100,000 steps) and I'm starting to think my initial assessment was correct. They are still very stiff and I can't wait to get home and get out of them. I hope with time they loosen up but I'm wishing I went with a different option. I'm hoping that Ariat produces a different style metatarsal boot, similar to style of their Endeavor 8" which I love. There's certainly a market for it, with more industrial settings requiring the metatarsal feature.

Would like to know how to break these boots in a little easier.

The steel toe and the boot itself fit great for my husband; the toe has held up great. The downside is the is the sole of the boot is already falling apart and the boots are only 3 months old. He works as a tow truck operator and usually tears up the toe but these have been the best at resisting wearing where others fell short. However hard to spend the money and barely get 3 month out of them.

The uppers where alittle tight for the 1st week but 2nd week, didn't even notice. The same pair I had before where used up more than I realized. Thanks goes to Ariat for the price consideration.

This is one of my more recent work boot purchases and I've been very happy with the fit. I typically wear a Nike size 13 wide, and using the sizing guide I got a 13 wide for these boots and they fit perfectly. My main pro right now is the toe space and how it feels around the toe. 5/5
