Echo Waterproof Steel Toe

Bought these for work at a food manufacturing facility. Picked them because they're waterproof as well as the required steel toe, and also slip-resistant, oil-resistant, and rated for electrical hazards - all a part of my work environment. So far they haven't disappointed. With daily wear since I bought them, the only obvious signs of use are a few scuffs on the toe. The material helps make those look less apparent too. So far so good. I wear them even on my off days sometimes. It's hard finding a work shoe for women that's built for us and lasts, so I'm eager to see how these wear over time.

I absolutely love these boots and I'm also a little disappointed. The good- women's steel toe boots that are relatively light and normal shaped. Compared to riding boots with no tread or toe protection- or logger boots that weigh 5lbs each, these are a great style and weight with a good tread. Needed a little breaking in but were pretty comfy from day 1. The bad- it's been a year (i wear them 6 days a week) and already some stitching is coming out. As another customer mentioned the toe also scuffs and gets torn up very quickly. My third comment is probably my fault because I put some rubber insoles in and I think they held too much moisture because now the boots smell a little swampy.

I'm a 7.5 and I think I should have purchased the 7.0 Other than that, I'm overall very impressed with these boots. Nicely made. Super solid. I didn't feel like they were rubbing on anything, but then again, I had on thick socks. I've owned Caterpillar brand boots in the past and I've been consistently impressed.

They are light and comfortable everywhere except the heel, which rubbed my foot raw and after only 30 minutes of walking created a huge blister even with super thick, Smartwool socks. I will not give up on them, but I will have to use band aids for a long time with this guys. On another note, the coating on the leather scuffed up on the toes very easily. It doesn't matter to me, since I work in construction, but if someone wanted these to look sort of nice, I wouldn't count on it. They look bad after one day in the field.

These boots are great, super comfy, super cute, not clunky and don’t make me feel like I’m wearing clown shoes even though they’re steel toe. HOWEVER, they are NOT waterproof. Which is the main reason I bought them. I work in landscaping and also in a horse barn. At first, they seemed to withstand some water, but after one day of working outside in full rain all day they have never been the same. I’m not sure what happened but now any amount of water goes right through them. Very disappointed as I’ve only had them for about two weeks and I was really into them at first. Thank goodness I got them on sale so it’s not a huge loss but again, the main reason I bought them was because they were supposed to be waterproof and clearly that is not the case. Sad :(

Love them. They are lighter than I thought. Really comfortable.

Overall these are pretty decent boots. My only complaint is that I wish they had a shorter shaft. I have to cram my pants into them or cuff my pants into oblivion when I wear these to work. I ordered a wide size which to me felt more like a normal width, but worked out for me nonetheless.

Beautiful shoes. Great ankle support stylish not to bulky or heavy. Good wiggle room. Wish the insoles where better support but still overall good shoes. Held up 10hrs of walking and standing. The leather is good quality. Barely can see creases from toe flexing.

These shoes are great - finally a stylish option for a women’s work boot. My only criticisms are that they run half a size small, so my foot rubs a bit. Additionally, the lining inside of the heel started to rub away after 6 months. This could be because they are half a size too small. A tip for anyone else with the same issue is to put some strong gaffer tape in the heel area, which will stop the rubbing a deterioration.

These boots are great, but the right shoe rubs on my heel a bit. I assume it'll be better after they've been broken in, but it was a bit annoying during my first work shift wearing them. They're also MUCH heavier than sneakers, so that'll take a bit of getting used to, as well. Overall, quite comfy and sturdy.
