The Trucker Jacket

I purchased this jacket expecting it would be made the same way it was from years ago, I was wrong. The quality with which Levi's makes this classic jacket has gone down. The denim is a much lighter weight than what they used to use for this jacket, as it's now essentially a denim shirt styled as a jacket. The sizing is also now incredibly small. I'm 5'11", 215 lbs., and usually wear a size XL jacket. I purchased this jacket in a size XXL just to allow myself some extra room. I was surprised when the jacket arrived, I almost couldn't get it on it was so tight. And the sleeves only went about 4/5 of the way down my forearm. And again, this was an XXL! This used to be a great jacket, rugged, and a great fit. Apparently, those days seem to be gone. Thankfully, Zappos offered a speedy return with free shipping, along with excellent (warm/friendly) customer service.

Solid denim jacket. I'm 6'2" 185lbs with an athletic build and the large size is perfect.

I really like the jacket itself, but I think the sizing is a little off. I'm 5' 10" at 170lbs and wear medium in everything...this fits more like a shmedium like it was ran through a dryer too many times. It's very snug in the arms and shoulders. Definitely not enough room to layer up with a flannel shirt underneath if I wanted to.

This is a timeless piece that never goes out of style, funny that I never own one before but have seen it and liked it. The denim feels sturdy and well made, and the quality is exactly what you'd expect from Levis. It has a clean, classic look that works with jeans, chinos, or even joggers. The fit is on the slimmer side, especially through the shoulders and arms, so keep that in mind or maybe I have gain some weight over time "LOL" because I have been gyming, so keep in mind if you plan to layer a hoodie underneath or anything thick. I wear my usual size for a fitted look with a t-shirt, and it fits a little to close. If you prefer a roomier fit or plan on layering, sizing up may be the better choice. Overall, it is a versatile jacket that is easy to dress up or down and should last for years. Definitely a wardrobe staple.

The material was really nice. It was lightweight yet felt super strong and super soft/cozy. It also draped really nicely. It was really impressive. I loved the color in the picture but in real life it looks slightly different.
