These are very sturdy boots. With fall approaching they will be my daily go-to. I bought these Carhatt's because my previous work boots began to hurt my toes. When they came from ZAPPOS my girlfriend thought they were too nice to wear to work. Although my old boots hurt, these are very comfortable. The leather and soles are high quality materials. I've only had them about a week but I wear them almost all day almost every day. Easy to put on and take off. Good fit and support. Comfortable. Not too clunky or bulky like some work shoes. It seems like they're breaking-in well. In fact, if Carhartt made these in and 8" I'd actually get a pair of those as well for work and keep these for casual. Very nice boot.

I purchased these Carhart boots about a year ago and have been very pleased with comfort, arch support and durability. There was no ``break-in'' period and was wearing the boots to work the day after they arrived. I work outside 12 months of the year in a wild, wooded environment, so the boots take a beating. I do keep them clean and use saddle soap and a leather conditioner about once a month. When they are cleaned, they look as good as new. I will mention that I usually wear Carhart work socks with my work boots but I use Red Wing work socks with these because they provide a more comfortable fit. With prospects of a wet Fall and Winter following, I just ordered another pair of Carhart 6'' in a plain toe. Thanks ``Carhart'' for a great pair of work boots.

This is a $60 "lifestyle" boot masquerading as a work boot. Very poor construction throughout, cheap leather and fabrics, cheap cheap cheap sole. This boot looks great, so if you want a moc toe look, this will give it. But just be aware you're paying about $80 for that Carhartt tag, as these do not hold up under even moderate use.
