great socks, but prefer not for my future pairs: Tried a pair of over the calf and boot height, and I prefer the not height, but these will be nice and warm for winter outdoor work

I am on my feet all day in construction, at the Firehouse, and outdoors. Ive always bought quality wool socks, but they never last. These socks do. They dont wear out in the heals and toes like other socks, they fit well and the they dont slide down. I love the over the calf socks for wearing in rubber boots, or waiters.
