I wear a women’s medium, but since Vince runs a bit small, I ordered a large. after washing in warm water and tumbled dry it shrunk to fit perfect. the fabric is soft.
The fabric is soft, but thin. The top has no shape -- boxy -- looks just like a men's undershirt.
