These boots felt a bit tight. They felt both sorter and narrower than I had expected. The arch support just did not feel right to me.

My normal size is 10W. I purchased another pair of Dunham boots in that size, but which felt too tight on my foot. I tried these in 10-1/2 W but they were WAY too loose. In addition, the leather felt too lightweight for my preference in a boot. I suspect these would not provide the service I expect out of a pair of boots.

Excellent shoes, heavy but soft leather, immediately comfortable BUT the fit is at least a ½ size bigger than you are used to. After returning two pairs, different sizes, I decided to forget it and buy in person. Unfortunately I need extra wide and that’s not easy to find in a store. To bad, I really wanted them to fit!
