I really like the Aden rain jacket. It is a nice weight, not too heavy. The zipper comes up high enough to cover your neck in a downpour. It is not too fitted so that you can fit a fleece under it, so its good year round.

This jacket is fabulous for heavy rains! It is waterproof and the blue color is gorgeous!!!! Wish it had come in petite as I am 51. It is low on the hip for a shorter woman and therefore a tad tight around the hips.

I bought this for my recent trip to Norway and it was perfect for the days when we were visiting fjords and it was windy on the ferries. It helped block the wind but it didnt make me hot. When we took the Loen Skylift to Mt. Hoven the temperature change was 25+ degrees and I was glad I had this coat instead of my lighter rain jacket with me because it helped with the increased wind and temperature drop. The one day it rained it kept me completely dry. It was the perfect jacket for my trip.

I needed a rain jacket for a trip to Ireland. This jacket is perfection! Not only is it excellent in the rain and wind, it is attractive enough to use as a daily wear jacket for the cooler evenings. Deep pockets and a hood that tucks away is another fine feature. I am a very happy customer

Love this jacket! A great jacket. I have the Aden long version of this jacket and love it as well. This shorter one is made of the same great quality as the long one though the zipper on the short one is not two way like it is on the long one. i would prefer the two way zip but am able to sit comfortably in the short one when zipped so I think it will be OK. This jacket just feels good on! The fit is on the feminine side which I like. I also love that there is no Velcro anywhere!! I have snagged many tops with Velcro on jackets so I appreciate the snaps! I hope HH keeps making these jackets in this quality for years to come.

Good jacket, minor flaws: It's a good jacket, but the pockets are a little small. I teach at an outdoor school and I always have lots of stuff in my pockets but this jacket barely has enough room for my hands! I normally wear a small/medium in most things, I ordered a large and it looked small to me. It is big enough for my purposes but I recommend ordering a size up. The large is just big enough for me to have a nice sweater underneath in winter.
