Enhanced Arch Footbed

The description should state what the information that comes with the insoles (footbeds) reveals: these are "designed specifically for low arches and flat feet." Without that piece of information, I have a feeling I am not the first to order these and return them. I have very high arches and hoped to get better-than-usual (enhanced) arch support. I'm sure they would be wonderful for people with low arches or flat feet.

Well, based on the other reviewer I'm wondering who can use these enhanced arch support insoles. I have what I thought was the perfect foot for these: low arches that without good arch support fall inwards. I put these in my Debra's and barely felt a difference in the arch support. I did order Wide because in the past Wide insole fit better (they are not as deep, actual width is the same as regular). But, I was walking out of my shoes when the regular insole that came with shoes was perfect. Don't have an issue with returns as Zappos is amazing. Just bummed that the insoles didn't work as expected.

I am so disappointed, I was hoping that these footbeds would provide more support for my high arches than the standard Alegria footbed. While they did provide a bit more support; my knees, hips and lower back were only grumbling instead of screaming, this was still not enough support for my feet, so back they go.

Oh man, these made my five year old Alegria Palomas feel like brand new. I over pronate and I have a bad ankle - I wish I could stick these footbeds in every shoe I own.

I gave these enhanced arch footbeds a try. My rule of thumb when buying Alegria is having at least 3/4" difference between the heel and footbed height I have some sandals that have only 1/2" difference and they are ok for short distances, but are not comfortable for walking long distances or being on my feet all day. These footbeds seem to correct that and offer more arch support than the original footbed in those sandals.

No different than the regular footbeds. Don't bother.

I love Allegria--it's disappointing these don't fit as replacement insoles.

Go 2-3 sizes down!! It is NOT BENDABLE, so can't fit it in the shoe unless the shoe is at least 2 sizes larger. I got 37 (I am US 7), but not only it's large for my foot (37 is good for 7.5, not 7), it does not go inside of even a 7.5 shoe! 37 is for size US 8.5 or 9. I need to note that the insole has bad sizing and design, otherwise Euro 37 IS in fact US 7, 7.5 . The worst waste of money. It is probably very comfortable (If one could get a size that is right)
