Don't recommend these sandals. My kiddo runs/jumps/hops/skips.... these are NOT the sandals to do any of these activities in, or make sure you have a box of band aids with you. The straps dug into our kiddo's skin.
These are our favorite shoes ever. Just wish they were offered in different colors every year or more colors
I really wanted these sandals but read that they run a bit big. I already wear a 5 in adult shoes so I knew I could not get a smaller size than that. I tried the size 5 either way (too big) and the size three in kids (also a bit too big). I exchanged for a size 2 in kids which I think will fit well. The main difference is that the heel is a bit smaller on the kid's version. There are also different colors but this worked out well for me because I like the blue color option for kids better than the blue for adults!
The Velcro didn't stay and they came off multiple times while doing a river float

I had to return. This size is the same one my daughter wears in her sneakers and another pair of sandals but just didn't fit. I think the fact that you can't adjust the rear (behind ankle) strap might have something to do with fit difficulty.
We just ordered our third pair of these sandals. My son has worn them since he is 3 and has never complained about them. He loves to wear them and I love that he can get them DIRTY or wet and it's no big deal because the clean right off and water doesn't soak into them like it would with cloth straps. I had an issue with the velcro coming off the second pair of sandals - the seam broke, but they held on until he grew out of them. Otherwise they look brand new. Highly recommend.
These sandals are supper lightweight and comfortable. Will see how long they last and see if they're worth the money spent on them. So far my kiddo loves them.
These sandals run quite large. My son is a 2 in sneakers, and the 2 in these sandals were massive. We ended up with the size 1, and even those sandals are a bit large. My son also has extra wide feet and these work great for that, but maybe that means they are too wide for a regular, narrower foot. They aren’t the most stylish looking sandals but we needed a sandal with a back strap for an active little guy, and these fit the bill. He thinks they are comfortable
It is a little too big now for my 5 year old son but I'm sure will be great once he gets to wear them. The quality is good and the shoes look pretty comfy. I hope it won't blister his feet.
