The fit is good and can tell the break-in period will be short, the will be good shoes .. but they arrived direct from amazon.. Amazon sells to zappo for $155 and then charges us $175 for placing an order from amazon. Hmmm maybe I need in on this racket.
Decent quality shoe: Could use a bit more arch support
I have been buying this (style) shoe over the past 8 years, but no they have decided to make the insoles out of a different basic material. Not only is it sub-par to previous shoes, but now they have you buy the subscription style add on to get a quality insole now. Being 65 and 270 and on my feet all day requires a good shoe (and INSOLE!). Do better KEEN!

Perfect fit, have had them for just about a year at the time of writing this review, and they are still holding up well.
Purchased these for my son who is on his feet all day long. The look is professional, great traction on slippery surfaces & literally no "break in time" needed. He said the shoes felt comfortable right out of the box. Very happy with this purchase.
I like the way I’m confotable with shoes

The Men's Detroit XT Internal MET (Steel Toe) safety shoes I purchased from Keen are an exception - after my 12 hour shift, mostly on my feet, I still barely notice that they are on my feet.

This is my second pair of the Detroit Metatarsal (Size 8. 5 Wide). Ive always been a Keen shoe wearer, outside of work and at work (composite toe). When my job started requiring a metatarsal, I was relieved to see that Keen offered this type of shoe. I never thought that one Keen shoe (the metatarsal) would/could out-do another (the composite) in regards to comfort. There is something about the Metatarsal shoe that surpasses every other pair of Keens Ive ever owned. This shoe Is sleek considering its a Met, the design is hidden in the tongue of the shoe and not the clunky Met that weve been used to. Ive also noticed that this shoe even holds up longer and wears better than the standard Composite toe. Based on life of the shoe, I will probably order this Met as an everyday (outside of work) shoe. Yes, its THAT GOOD!
