My son has Down syndrome and his feet are incredibly difficult to fit. This shoe was wide enough to be comfortable and not too long. It would be nice if Extra Wide widths were available but for a shoe he only has to wear on special occasions this has worked very well.
My son has high insteps and wide feet. Both make fitting shoes very difficult. This style accommodates for both—we'll see if any fit issues surface over time, but he says it feels comfortable out of the box, and the backing of the shoes don't dig into his heels. He likes the style of the shoe and intends to wear it regularly.
Does not fit. I have worn this size of shoe for over 50 years and have worn Flroshiem shoes for about as long. I plan to return them.

This is an unusual review: I am an 80 year old female who contracted polio at the age of 18 months. I have always needed to wear sturdy, laceable, two different size shoes. For years in my adult life, I have purchased the Billings Jr. 11 shoes. They are my only shoes. They maintain their sturdiness and I can easily keep them polished. Thank you Florsheim! You've kept me grounded!
