The leather on these breaks in fast cause they are slightly oiled. Very comfortable. I had these for 5 years and used them for work as a truck driver. They would still be going strong but the right boot sole collapsed where I press the fuel pedal. Otherwise they are still in great shape. I bought a new pair to replace these. As far as the Asian boots go, they are very well made. I had 2 English pair back in the 80s punk rock days. Those were the best. The Asians are still great. Get them.

Excellent fit! The toe box is nice and roomy so my foot is not constructed at all. Comfy to walk and stand in. Great ankle support as well. I am also really impressed by the quality of the leather. All around an excellent shoe.

I had these boots for about four years and they still look in pristine condition. I own five pairs of dr marten shoes. These are probably my favorite pairs. They’re comfortable and match any pair of pants. They are a bit on the heavy side. That is the only con.

Had the originals in the 90's - they suffered dry rot here in FL and I (sadly) had to let them go about 10 years ago. So it was time to replace them. Just as awesome as they were back then! Instantly comfortable and will only get better as I wear them. One thing that's disappointing about the modern day Docs is the cost for the originals (made in England). Will enjoy them for many years to come as they never go out of style! :)

These are super comfortable and no break-in required. I was able to put them on and go! I am typically a size 39 EU so the women’s 8 fit perfectly with a thick sock. These have more cushion than the other 1460s I own (which are the Virginia pascal leather, so I’m not sure if that makes a difference in the sole or not). The leather is beautiful and has good pick up, so I can tell these are going to age nicely. If you’re a half size in US sizes, definitely size down. Very accommodating for those with a slightly wider foot as well.
