It's notable that a comfortable wide shoe for a guy that does not like dress shoes or dress socks-these hit the mark...
They are not heavy or light, they are somewhere in the middle as to weight. They are for a special occasion and have not been worn for any amount of time yet. They are not so fancy that they can't be worn with jeans, though he scoffed at that. It seemed pretty great that he said "feels more like a slipper" than those old ones I have. Winner winner in my book. Perhaps since three pairs were ordered it should be mentioned that the price was not revealed. The goal was shoes he did not dread :) .

They squeak when I walk. If it doesn't stop I will need to return them. Other than this, they are quite nice, comfortable, and stylish .

J&M shoes tend to run narrow, but even in a 3E, I felt I was going to blow out the sides of this shoe. Too bad, because it's a really good looking loafer and appears well made. If you have a wide foot, this likely won't work for you. Hate to return it, but must.

Great looking shoe and width was right on but holy cow the heel flopped and would not keep the shoe on. Returned. Why do they think the heel is so wide.

Love the look and versatility of this shoe. I had searched high and low to replace a very similar shoe that is no longer made, so was happy to finally find this one. They are slightly long and slightly narrow for the size, but still close enough to work for me. Arch support is severely lacking, but that was solved with an additional insert. Materials are top quality and craftsmanship appears to be excellent.

A bit too large, reluctant return. Note there isn't much grip on the sole, and the leather seems a bit delicate, but if they fit, I would keep.
