Takes a few months to break in. Do not size down if using an insole, which is necessary as there is no padding/support. Lifetime boot. Can send back to RedWing for new soles. Purchased Chippewa and Thorogood. Seems like I always go back to the RedWings.
This Red Wing blacksmith 3343 is super fantastic. I received the shoes in a non-red-wing box, that is weird!

It takes TIME to break in. The first couple times you wear them, be prepared. I ordered one size smaller than my running shoe size. They fit snug but not tight. After a while (at least 10 hours or more of wear) they start to stretch and feel more relaxed. I have no doubt they will last forever.
Gorgeous boot. Obviously a lifetime purchase. I'm a true 10.5D in Nike and New Balance. The leather will eventually contour to your feet. I recommend starting a whole size smaller.
Picture does not relate to item sent color and leather in picture look more like the amber iron lug. These look beat up already. For 300 bucks I’d prefer to beat them myself
I needed to add a half insole for heel and arch support. Now they fit perfect.

These are beautiful boots and well made! The Copper Rough & Tough leather is going to patina wonderfully. Red Wing states that the #8 last that these and many of their other 6” boots are built on run a half size big. I have these and the Iron Ranger and both reliably run a full size large.
