I wear the regular Arizonas in size 38 narrow soft footbed all summer long and I was having trouble finding a comfortable pair of indoor slippers for cooler "winter" weather in the SF Bay area because of my metatarsalagia. I have high arches and low volume feet that are medium but slightly on the narrow side. I bought these in 39 because I wear them with socks and they fit well given the lining AND the socks. If I wear them barefoot they are a bit loose, especially after the lining gets more packed down. So keep in mind if you plan to wear with socks I would size up one European size otherwise don't. I wish these also came in soft footbed but I guess the lining helps to soften things. I find regular birks way too hard on my skinny feet. Bottom line these are more comfortable and supportive than any comfort slipper of at least 5 or 6 that I tried and returned including Haflinger, Vionic and Orthofeet. Love them!

I’m not sure what happened to Birkenstock. Zappos is an excellent company to do business with but I will no longer purchase this brand. They used to be wonderful looking and super comfortable but have gone way down hill. My normal size was too small, they felt awful, and the materials were very cheap looking and cheaply assembled. I’ve seen knockoffs that look nicer.
The Sherpa lining disintegrated within 2 weeks of using this shoe. Do not recommend.
Perfect
I loved these shoes at first. Extremely comfortable and a nice mix of cool yet cozy. Perfect for wearing to yoga and pilates classes. Unfortunately, after a only a couple of months, the foot bed lining is peeling off in several spots. The material underneath it is very light gray, so it really shows up in contrast to the black lining. I have a similar pair of closed toe BIrkenstocks that are still holding up well after a couple of years, so I think there is something wrong with the quality control on the footbed of this particular pair. I am disappointed, but I may try them again at some point.
Very comfortable my son loved them
I loved these shoes, they are cozy, comfortable, and perfect for going to yoga or Pilates. The unfortunate part is that after 3 months, the sole started peeling from the bottom of the shoe in multiple spots. This has happened on both shoes, but more on the right. I hope they are just defective. I may try a different pair.
