I ordered my usual size 10W but it is too long. Exchanging for a 9.5 W. Shoe is made with excellent leather. I’m 72 and have big bunions so I’m accepting this style but am not crazy about it. I’ll be using my own orthotics so the shoes should work for dressy events. Love Zappos for their service and large selection of brands and sizes.
UPDATE - I wrote a bad review on the Clare Non-slip Loafer because they were uncomfortable and hurt my feet the first and only time I wore them. After a few months I realized I had worn these shoes without socks so I thought I'd try them again. This time I wore black thin nylon knee high trouser socks. I only went to church and back home which is what I did the first time I wore them. But what a difference wearing socks with these shoes made. They were more comfortable with no pain, and my feet did not slide forward and crush my toes like they did before. Now I am praising God that I can now wear these shoes as long as I wear thin (not thick) socks or go without socks like I do with sandals. FYI - I would like these shoes to come in other colors especially white.
I AM 85 YEARS OF AGE AND I HAVE HAD TWO PAIRS OF THESE SHOES. THEY ARE STYLISH AND GIVE GOOD SUPPORT. MOST OF ALL THEY ARE SLIP RESISTANT SO THAT I FEEL SAFE OUTDOORS. ALSO, I LIKE THE FACT THAT THE STRAP HAS A BUCKLE RATHER THAN VELCRO.
I wish these fit because I like the style. I am returning these because they are a little too big, especially in the heel. I have bunions so I need a wide. I think lace up shoes are my best bet now.
After years of wearing (and enjoying the Guardian non-slip, I am THRILLED that there is a non-slip which is a bit more stylish. And super comfortable. I would buy these again but so wish that there was another color.
The strap is one that must be closed manually each time and it is too hard to do for an old decrepit person. I would like the strap to be velcro to get on & off easier. Thanks
They don't have enough forefoot padding for my metatarsal spurs. But for someone else they would be very nice.
Nice looking comfortable shoe. Shoe was wide and toe boxy enough to fit my orthotic.
I buy SAS shoes most of the time and these are the tightest I've ever had. Also, there is a decorative strip that has a sharp edge inside. It rubs my toes and hurts. I am so disappointed to have to return them.
I had high hopes for this shoe due to the non-slip sole, so I ordered my usual size 11 1/2 N. They were extremely wide and just didn't fit at all. They have been returned.
