I've owned 3 previous Asolo boots with no issues (did a ton of hiking in them - geology field camp, hiking/backpacking in California/Utah). I ordered this boot twice because I thought my first boot was defective but upon the second pair arriving it's safe to say that this style has an issue. The top of the toe box indents hard on the inside of the shoe making it dig into the top of your foot. It is really uncomfortable and I am not confident is will break in any softer. Sent all pairs back. Love Asolo, but not this boot.

These boots are well worth the investment! I am a zookeeper, so I work on my feet all day on all types of terrain and in all conditions. These boots hold up to it all! The waterproofing is unbeatable. The comfort is outstanding. And they are of such high quality that they will last a lifetime.

Excellent fit. Love, love, love these boots!! My first pair of Asolo boots are 11 years old so I thought it was time to replace them before hiking in the Tetons. I wore these inside the house a few days then walked a couple of miles in them, and that was all the breaking in I did. The tread had great traction on the rocky paths, and the toe box protected my toes whenever I accidentally kicked a rock. Also, there were no blisters at all after hiking 8 miles. No tender toes or sore spots on shins like other hiking boots.

The fit and size are perfect. They're slightly stiff but that's to be expected. Worked in pouring rain all day, my feet stayed dry and not sweaty. I'm hoping these boots will go the distance.

This boot felt at least a full size too big. I ordered it in a half size smaller and it was still roomy. However, the toe break was off for me so I’m sending both boots back. Overall it was comfy and supportive just with a poor toe break for me.
