The Danner® Trail 2650 3" trail shoe is inspired by the demanding terrain found along the 2650-mile Pacific Crest Trail. This modern hiking shoe is designed with the ideal combination durable suede and lightweight textile, breathable mesh lining, long-lasting underfoot support, and superior outsole grip to keep you moving with confidence all season long. Durable leather and lightweight textile upper. Traditional lace-up style and back heel loop. Removable Ortholite® footbed is three layers of varying density that are combined for maximum cushioning and support. Entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation. Ultra-lightweight Plyogo EVA midsole provides excellent underfoot cushioning and shock absorption. Lightweight TPU shank for added stability. Vibram® 460 outsole features self-adapting lugs and Megagrip compound for long-wearing resilience with incredible grip on both wet and dry surfaces. This is a great looking shoe, I just need something that feels like it has more support overall underneath the foot bed. I think this would be a great every day shoe, but it doesn't feel solid and sturdy enough for trail walking.

This is my third pair of danner trail runners. I always take out the insole and replace with my orthodics. This time, I had to order this model as mine has been discontinued (WHY????). This shoe felt really tight even in my usual 1/2 size bigger. This particular model must have a shallower interior (?) so had to return.

These Danner shoes are an excellent trail shoe. They cushion your tired dogs while providing stability on rocky terrain. With great tread so you won’t be sliding down those slick slopes. You’ll never notice the protective plate guarding against cholla spikes from reaching your feet. A bonus on the cool colors and design.

I bought these mainly because they are cute, but they are amazingly comfortable and I have been using them for all of my dog walks.
