Replaced worn out St Johns model with these because of water capable. I liked the St Johns, but never used the back strap, and these stay on my feet just as well. When wet, the foot does not slide around on the sandal like the leather St Johns did. Good foot bed with arch support and nice cushioning. When these wear out, I will buy again.
The fit on these is generous, also because you can adjust the straps. I have extremely wide feet. They became the only shoes I can wear after foot surgery left me with swelling, so those adjustable straps were a lifesaver. They are very comfortable to wear all day with the arch support.
Fit seemed small because straps were so stiff. They were very uncomfortable. Straps were very stiff and scratched my foot. I do not recommend these sandals. The quality did not match price
I have recently become a fan of this odd footwear category, which I would describe as "slides which are easy and comfy normally, but which you can strap down tight for wading or slopes, etc. I tried these Dunham Newport Slide Water Friendly slides and liked them, but I slightly preferred the Keen Newport. At first glance these seem high quality (as slides go) and looked nice. I would encourage people to give them a try.
These are great sandles. I have occasional swelling in my feet, and I choose these because of the adjustable straps. They fit great all the time. I didn't think I'd like them at first because there is no give or stretch at all on the straps, but they just needed worn in. It only took a week which is no big deal.
I really wanted to like these, but the straps are just too rough! These are sturdy and offer decent support, but the straps were very uncomfortable!
Comfortable
I am pleased with the fit. My only problem is it feels like these sandals constantly feel like they are going to fall off. I am going to have to find a pair like these with a back strap.

Bought the tan model to be an easy to wear, beach-friendly sandal because of adjustable velcro straps. Price seemed ridiculously high. The Newport Slide WAS comfortable but wife said they looked liked they were designed for elderly podiatry patient. It is not the first time my choices failed to get past the style police. Exchanged for pair of original Tevas. Marriage saved.
