Fit was good. Made like a tank just like l remember the Irish Setters when I wore them 45 years ago. Only bad thing they are too heavy and too stiff for my old feet and legs.

Pretty good quality leather that really takes well to cleaning and conditioning (Leather Honey is my preferred product, but should work well with other cleaners/conditioners.) The first several days were pure agony as the leather tongues worked themselves to be less stiff against my ankle bones. The only other complaint I have is that, unlike their parent company - Redwing - these boots do not have the feature of replacable soles. Once a hole in the sole-seam is present, or once the soles are worn out, these boots are toast. Haven't nearly reached that point, even with an average of 7 miles/day on the job, but I REALLY wish Zappos and *my employer* could work out a deal on getting some EH rated Redwings approved.

Great Boots: This is my 3rd pair of Irish Setter boots. I would say that they are the best looking, most comfortable boots I've owned. I'll keep buying them and highly recommend them.

Really good boots, I average between 25k-35k steps a day and they aren't too heavy for me.
