My child loves these shoes. They are sturdy enough to run around in. I was looking for a hiking-type sneaker since my kiddo runs around everywhere. These are great for that. They do require him to sit down and use his hands to pull them over his feet, i.e. he can't just slip them on. But that's a good thing! They stay on securely while he moves around in them.
We love Stride Rite.. but obviously the price is the kicker. Bought these on sale. The perfect hiking/every day tennis shoe for our little one. Will continue to buy this brand!
