I couldn't be happier with this marine wool long underwear. From the moment I put it on, the quality was obviousthe fabric feels incredibly soft against the skin. It provides excellent warmth without feeling bulky. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable base layer that I'd absolutely recommend to anyone looking for warmth and comfort in colder climates.
Love the 3/4 design as it avoids excess material above ski boot. Perfect weight for Feb. skiing in the Rockies. Fit through thighs & butt was just right.
The fit was really good for me. After reading previous reviews and checking the sizing chart, I decided to go up one size from my usual bottom size, and the fit was right on. I was at first concerned about the cuffs not being snug but worn under shell bibs for skiing and snowshoeing but I was very comfortable on 20 degree days. The material gets very soft and comfy with the first wash.
This is my base layer for downhill skiing- replacing my old smartwool base layer that is 7 years old and still has a lot of years left- i wanted the 3/4 as i wear a big heavy knee brace skiing now and the 3/4 fixed the bunching up problem with ski sock and base layer in my ski boot
I like Smartwool, it's my go to first layer. However, I was at but disappointed with this product. I want a layer that is 3/4 bit more fitting but not so tight that it restricts.

I use these for skiing. Having the shorter length is perfect. It prevents binding and crowding in my boots with my tall Smartwool ski socks. Perfect!
