The shoes fit (& feel) GREAT. I haven't YET put a ton of miles on them, but after a quick 10+ mile / 30 minute test ride yesterday, I already love them. I had put nearly 4,000 miles on my old Diadora road bike shoes (R.I.P.), but immediately noticed a few upgrades with these new Shimano RC-1s, including overall comfort and a surprising amount of airflow! I had simultaneously ordered a pair of the newer RC-3s, but their BOA closure system simply didn't work for me, as they left too much vertical room for my foot to move up & down inside the shoe (even on its tightest possible setting). I had NO SUCH PROBLEM with these RC-1s & their "old school" three-strap velcro closure system. They feel perfectly snug and correspondingly efficient. I am returning the RC-3s & keeping the RC-1s. On a minor note regarding aesthetics: in the pictures online, I personally thought that the RC-3s looked much cooler than the RC-1s. In person, however, they're actually dead even in my opinion. The RC-3s DO look cool in person, but the RC-1s actually look much nicer in person than online (in my opinion). It's a very minor factor, but I'm happy that it's true since I'm keeping the RC-1s & actually like the way they look in addition to loving the way they feel!

Excellent shoe for both indoor cycling / spin & outdoor road bike. I first bought the women’s version for my wife & after becoming envious of how great & comfortable her shoes looked, I bought the male model for myself. Don’t regret it. They are very stiff yet comfortable & work great with my Look clips.
I normally wear a 44 in all of my other shoes. Size 10. This 44 was way too small, so I went up to a 45 and they fit perfectly. I would say these run a half size small, so order up a half size.

I bought these shoes to replace a worn out pair of shoes that I wear to mostly peloton , but occasionally use to ride my regular bicycle. very comfortable with good support
These work great with my new peloton! FYI the cleats are sold separately, so be ready to purchase those at a local bike store.
Purchased these for use with Peloton. These are my first pair of cycling shoes. 10+ rides in and am feeling very good about these shoes. Looking forward to using with my road bike too. My wife, similar foot size, has started using these instead of her Peloton shoes. She is returning the Peloton shoes and will be using mine(ours) :-)

I bought these for use with a Peloton. They have been a good shoe so far. I was worried they would be hot, but no issues. The three straps offer just enough adjustability, although the toe strap seems like it doesn’t do much. I wish they opened up a little more easily, but maybe to top flap will soften over time. No problems with strap stitching or quality that some others have mentioned. The color is not as fun as it looks in the pictures: the yellow is almost an acid green. Not very attractive, but I’m in a room by myself with the bike.
I love these shoes... As a new cyclist, this is my first pair of 3 bolts and I chose to pair them with speedplay pedals and cleats. Installation was really easy. My only complaint is that my foot is large and the velcro straps seemed to be shorter than expected, but still acceptable.
